This privacy policy governs the privacy of the users of www.border-crossing.com. It explains how we at Border Crossing process, store and protect user data and information. Data security and customers’ protection are one of our main priorities.
What kind of information do we collect and how do we use it?
In our border crossing cards application forms we ask only for information necessary for creating a profile for the customer in the GOES system which will enable them to get their border crossing pass. All application forms are destroyed immediately after the information is entered into the government system. We do not allow employees to print application forms. If a customer cancels the service we destroy their application immediately and the customer’s file is removed from our records.
How do we ensure security of the data?
We implement a variety of security measures to guarantee the safety of customers’ personal information while the application is being processed. We guarantee that all the data sent by the applicant protected from unauthorized access. Each employee is trained to protect the data and to respect all applicants’ privacy. To ensure high standard customer service, we do not operate a call center and all communication with customers is done via email. We do not use cookies to collect information about our customers.
Do we disclose information to third parties?
We never sell your personal information to third parties. We may however release your information if necessary to comply with the law or protect our rights, property, or safety.
